Carova.net Terms of Service and Acceptable Use
Policy
Carova.net provides dedicated web hosting solutions to our clients and has a
responsibility to protect each client and to provide the best services available.
The following guidelines were designed to ensure that these obligations are
met.
Content
All services provided by Carova.net may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any United States Federal, State or City law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene or material protected by trade secret or other statute. The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Carova.net from any claims resulting from the use of the service that damages the subscriber or any other party.
All pornographic content and sex-related merchandising is prohibited on all Carova.net servers. This includes sites that may infer sexual content or links to adult content elsewhere. Carova.net will be the sole arbiter in determining violations of this provision.
Also prohibited are sites that promote any illegal activity or present content that may be damaging to Carova.net servers or any other server on the internet. Links to such materials are also prohibited.
Examples of unacceptable content or links
Carova.net will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.
Commercial Advertising - E-mail
Spamming, or the sending of unsolicited e-mail, from a Carova.net server or using an e-mail address or domain that is maintained on a Carova.net machine as reference is STRICTLY prohibited. Carova.net will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.
IRC
IRC or IRC bots may not be operated on our servers at this time.
Server Abuse
Any attempt to undermine or cause harm to a server or customer of Carova.net is strictly prohibited.
Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or suspend service at our sole discretion.
We are not to be held responsible for any loses---business, monetary, or
otherwise---that may occur as a result of cancellation, suspension, or
refusal of service.
All Sub-Networks, distributive hosting sites and dedicated servers of Carova.net
must adhere to the above policies.
Cancellation of Service
Contracts for hosting service run for 3, 6, and 12 month terms. Cancellation of service or changes to contract lenght must be given at least 30 days before the expiration of the term, otherwise it will automaticall renew and continue for the same contract period.
Failure to follow any term or condition will be grounds for immediate account
deactivation.
